Solar Power Consultation and Design in Berks County Pennsylvania

Picture standing on your roof on a crisp Berks County Pennsylvania morning, sunshine cascading through the clouds, and questioning how to harness that golden energy efficiently. Among the trickiest aspects of solar installation is designing a system that works completely with your distinct residential or commercial property. Misjudging roof angles, shading from trees, or perhaps local weather condition patterns can turn what should be a tidy energy win into wasted capacity.

Lumina Solar PA comprehends how the specific landscape and environment of Berks County Pennsylvania impact solar efficiency. This is not simply about slapping panels on a roofing; it's about crafting a bespoke service that consider:

  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by George Hege: I contacted 3 solar companies when we decided to consider going solar. Christopher Richardson was by far the most helpful and honest of the representatives I talked to. He provided clear answers, was available when needed, but did not use any high pressure sales techniques in an attempt to seal the deal. Lumina's installation team was efficient and professional. There was a mix up on their end that delayed our ability to go live for about 2 weeks but they took care of it. We've now been producing electricity for 6 months and continue to recommend Lumina to anyone who is considering solar.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Eric Landis: Great experience from presales through Install. Highly recommend. Highly recommend Peter Hayes
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Jeff Chapman: Lumina Solar is the way to go. Jack Wood was our rep and explained everything in detail. Our project was pushed back by a couple of days due to snow and high winds (install was in January), but the guys came out on Saturday and Sunday to finish up and get back on schedule. I received quotes from 2 other companies and Lumina was right in the middle. The company with the low offer did not have the length of warranty that Lumina has. They did not have many positive reviews, and I did not get that warm and fuzzy feeling from their very pushy sales guy. The high quote was more than double what Lumina came in at. They also said that their panels would be able to cover 100% of my electric usage. When I sent Jack my electric bills he was shocked at how much we use (family of 8, work from home, kids home schooled, etc). He was honest and said there is no way that we could get 100% covering our existing roof panels. we would need another 10 panels. He said their panels will only produce about 75% of our electric usage. He is spot on for the last 7 months. I am planning on a roof over our patio in the next couple of years and I will definitely be using Lumina to cover that roof with panels.
  4. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by James Callahan: My family has been very pleased with the work of Lumina Solar PA, installing solar roof panels and upgrading the electrical breaker box to accommodate the system. The service was efficient and first-rate, and the savings on electricity costs have been well worth the cost of the installation.
  5. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Bruce Ogden: After interviewing 7 solar companies, we selected Lumina Solar to design and install our solar system. Lumina has, in my opinion, the best sun angle/exposure software platform which provided us the most efficient and highest yield panel layout. Alexander Fegley, our sales consultant, was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to all our questions (and there were many). The installation team was awesome and great to work with. Our system is up and production is meeting all of our expectations. Selecting Lumina Solar was definitely the right decision.
  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by tim brodhead: Going solar is something I’ve thought about for years and finally decided to act on it. Jevon Ciciliot, my salesman reached out to me and drove all the way up to my house to discuss further and come up with a game plan with the most efficient system possible. Jevon was polite, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. With such a major investment, naturally there are a ton of questions. Jevon was able to answer and explain everything in a way that doesn’t make your head spin. He also presented and carried himself like a friend that I’ve known for years. Jevon was always available to answer any questions that inevitably pop up and would get back to me promptly regardless of how busy his schedule may be. Once it came time for installation, the install crew also carried themselves professionally and worked quickly. I was told it was a 2 full day job to complete but they were done in a day and a half without any mistakes. They kept me in the loop throughout the install so I always knew how things were going. And most importantly they didn’t leave any mess behind once they were done. Overall I had an excellent experience.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Richard Frey: From the very beginning until now after our system was installed our experience with Lumina Solar and Philip Jordan has been awesome. In the beginning we looked at a few different Solar companies. My wife and I thought that the presentation that Philip gave was the most informative and the best. Philip was only a call or text away for all the many (and by many I mean alot) of questions that we had and still have. Our system would have been installed about 2 months earlier if not for having to file for a varance for the township. Philip assisted us with all the paperwork and then even offered to help us with addressing about 50 envelopes to send out for the hearing. Once the permits were issued the process went quickly and smoothly. The panels (41 between the house and detached garage) were installed in only 2 days. My wife told me that Cameron and his crew were very professional. Cameron took his time and made sure to explain everything to her. After the install the inspection was only 2 days later and I signed the last form for PPL that Friday. The following Tuesday afternoon our system went active. It's been on for a week now and producing more then we are using so we will have some credit in the winter. Again the whole process with Lumina and Philip was a great experience. Ps. I just asked Philip another question today and as usual he was quick to respond.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by George K: Amazing Solar Company! From the start of the process, working with the PA Team Lead Philip Jordan on sizing, design and cost, through timely and professional installation, it has been a pleasure working with Lumina Solar. The project was completed on schedule and at the estimated cost. The system is well-suited for our needs today and in the future. Throughout the project I appreciated the timely follow-up by Philip answering any questions and ensuring I was kept current from installation through Permission to Operate. I HIGHLY recommend Lumina Solar!
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Thi Thach: Lumina Solar was one out of 3 companies we got quotes from. We decided to go with them because of their professionalism, the materials they were using, and price. There were no pressure sales tactics at the initial meeting. Philip answered all my questions. When I told him I had done my research, he kept it concise and to the point. The installed team completed the project in one day. Two guys stayed until we got home to see if we have any questions. Philip stayed in touch throughout the entire process and promptly answered my texts whenever I sent them. Now we are impatiently waiting for PECO to swap out our meter so we can start using our system. Can’t wait!
  10. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Berks County Pennsylvania by Henry Schwab: Working with Phil, Cory, Eli and the entire team was a great experience! The design, layout and installation went through without any issues. The crew was clean, neat and respectful of our home too. The system is working great. Please use me as a reference at any time.
  • Sun course variations throughout the year

Anecdotally, a homeowner in Bucks County when believed a shaded yard was unsuitable for solar. Lumina's team showed how strategic placement on an eastern roofing section could still capture ample sunlight, turning skepticism into enjoyment.

Specialist Tips for Solar Design Success

  1. Conduct a comprehensive website assessment at various times of the day to determine shading concerns.
  2. Use advanced simulation software to anticipate energy output over seasons, not simply warm days.
  3. Think about future tree development or close-by building and construction that could alter sunshine direct exposure.
